Description

As the name suggests, this series is a delightful showcase of some of the most mesmerizing moments involving trains, planes, and a sprinkle of intriguing random content, all impeccably presented in both picture and video formats. What sets this series apart is its harmonious blend of randomly chosen background music, carefully curated to be clean and copyright-free. In essence, these videos can be likened to music videos, influenced by a multitude of creative minds. The choice of each thumbnail is meticulously aligned with the video's content, ensuring an engaging and immersive experience for all viewers. "Trains, Planes, and More" takes center stage as this channel's top priority, primarily due to its manageable production process, with the primary challenges revolving around content and music selection. Some videos may also honor anniversaries and special events, such as National Train Day, and LIRR's 190th Anniversary.

Implies the following video series as well:
  • Ride on Vids (Archived)
  • Unrelased Footages
  • Train Sim (Ride on Vid or showcasing a train)
  • Train and rail yard simulator
  • Subway Train Simulator

Founding of the series

First starting with part 1, I found it very fun and satisfying while putting together the first video, in regards to the music selection. In my opinion, the music selection really matches the vibe and can go on and on.

Part 1 started the series on March 7th, 2022.

The Best of Railfanning, Plane Spotting, and Many More brings together all kinds of random media I either took on my phone and PC. Some of the screenshots or irl pictures are photoshopped, and all are processed. Videos are also included as well.

Every 10 video of the series is large and long, with the same normally used media but with a mass amount.

Some of the media used is by others, with credits given at the end of each video.

Music used

The Music used are mainly from various video games, NCS and also YouTube Audio Library. Those are only royalty and copyright free for now, with later purchasing various licenses to use more music.

Whenever issues arise at first during upload or while the video has already been published, either a dispute is filed or the video is taken down and fixed, removing the claimed content.

This does not apply to Ride on Vids or Unreleased Footages.

Select music picked from the YouTube Audio Library are auto attributed.

As aforementioned, every 10 video uses a fixed amount of 9 musics, with various amounts towards the end.

Trivia

  • The series is based on various old slideshow videos uploaded since 2009, specifically for tributes of older NYC Subway cars that were being retired at that time (The R32, R38, R40 Series, R42, R44, and the then retired Redbirds). The only difference is copyright music is not used in any of the videos within the series except in select videos.
  • Currently Part 70 is not only the Large/Long video of the series, but also for the whole channel, by 1 hour and 58 minutes.
  • Starting with Part 51, all subsequent videos of the series has also been uploaded randomly relating to other video series.
  • Part 49 first started off the Unreleased Footages video series.
  • The video series also covers Ride on Vids in Subway Train Simulator, when the devs added this new feature to that game.
  • Part 29 is dedicated to July 4th, while 150 is dedicated to the 190th Anniversary of LIRR and 53rd of Amtrak.
  • Parts 34 and 99 are dedicated to the holiday, specifically Christmas.
  • Part 98 is the first video that featured the outro screen as seen from The Lion King 1 1/2 outro, as well as both 99 and 100. However since then, only newer Large/Long uploads of the series (expect for Parts 110 and 140) feature this crossover outro.

Note to viewers

"Please be sure to give all high quality videos of this series some support & care (At least 100 or more views, plus 5 likes or more please), it isn't easy to make any of them. They take almost a whole day and likely 2 or more depending on the duration. Factors like media selection, choosing the best music (limited due to copyright which is not my control), and the transitions all prove a challenge. Sometimes a copyright claim may come up, meaning I have to go back and edit the video again. Also for unreleased footges & Ride on Vids (Archived or game related), it's a big challenge to download a large video clip and edit out any potential segments that contains copyright music or any other factors that may compromise my own or other's safety. I hope everyone enjoys these videos as much as I have making them."

-Posted on every description of all videos of the series (As of 2024, for videos uploaded after Part 140).

It's true, videos like these take a very long time to make as it takes alot of effort, from choosing the media to the right songs.
